Vintage Ridgways Bedford Ware Hand Painted Art Deco 15pc Coffee Set c1930s
Description A beautiful vintage 15-piece Ridgways Bedford Ware coffee set, hand painted in England with a wonderfully colourful floral design. The set features vibrant purple flowers, green foliage and stylised yellow motifs against a cream ground, finished with delicate yellow/gold line detailing. The tall lidded coffee pot is particularly attractive, with matching hand-painted floral decoration and a charming decorative finial to the lid. The pieces carry the distinctive "Ridgways Hand Painted - Bedford Ware - Made in England" backstamp, with a hand-painted pattern number also visible on the coffee pot. A very decorative and characterful complete six-person coffee service, perfect for collectors of Ridgways, Bedford Ware and vintage English hand-painted ceramics.
