Vintage 15 Pc Lustreware Coffee Set Romantic Couple Pearl Luster Porcelain Gold
Elegant vintage 15-piece porcelain coffee set featuring beautiful iridescent lustreware finish, rich gold trim, and romantic Victorian-style courting couple scenes. This charming vintage coffee service includes 6 coffee cups, 6 matching saucers, a coffee pot, and a lidded sugar bowl, making it a complete and highly decorative set for serving coffee or displaying in a china cabinet. The porcelain features a beautiful pearl lustre (iridescent) glaze that catches the light beautifully, complemented by ornate gold decoration and colourful romantic scenes inspired by classic European artwork. The elegant Rococo-style handles, finials and decorative borders give the entire set a luxurious mid-century appearance.
Although unmarked, the quality, decoration and craftsmanship are characteristic of decorative European porcelain produced during the mid-20th century. Approximate cup capacity: 150 ml (5 oz). Pearl lustre / mother-of-pearl glaze. Rich gold trim and decorative gilding.
