The 2 coffee pot is approximately seven and half inches tall by 10 1/2 inches wide from the back of the handle to the tip of the spout each. The teapot is approximately 5 inches tall by almost 10 3/4 inches long from the back of the handle to the spout. The 2 sugars are a little over 4 inches tall by seven and half inches wide from the backs of the handle to handle each. The 2 creamer is 2 3/4 inches tall by almost 6 and half inches long each.
The rare waste bowl is almost 2 3/4 inches tall by around 5 inches long. Can also be used for discarded teaspoons. I have also said that there are no monograms on the outside of this tea set, however on one of the sugar bowl on the inside cover, it has a monogram in high script which I make out to say SSR 1938 to 1963 with WSR. So part of this tea set was probably a 25th year anniversary gift. The lid is thick enough to have these monograms removed if it bothers you. They all have the identical maker's Mark, with the exception of three pieces with one creamers has an earlier Gorham Mark, and the waste bowl has the Durgin mark, the base is a little different than the rest of the set but still the Fairfax pattern. So that would indicate to me that some of these pieces were bought separately, at different times. I guarantee that they are all Fairfax pattern. These eight pieces weigh approximately 100 ounces.A great set to have either coffee or tea at the same time. You might want to bookmark me. You will be happy you found me. I come up with some very unusual items.
