This is beautiful hand painted set produced by famous Russian Lomonosov Factory. The set includes: coffeepot (9" high and holds 3 cups), sugar bowl (diameter 4" and 4" high), 2 coffee cups (3" high and holds 4 oz) with saucers (diameter 4.5"), 2 dessert plates (diameter 6"), 2 candle holders (4" high) and candy bowl (diameter 6.25" and 3.5 high).

The original Lomonosov factory logo is on the bottom of each item (see picture). The Lomonosov Imperial Porcelain Factory was founded in St. Petersburg in 1744 under the decree of Peter the Great's daughter Empress Elizabeth.

It was the first porcelain company in Russia and the third in all of Europe.' He was the first in the history of ceramics who made a scientific description of porcelain production.
