Vintage Silver Plate Tea Set Coffee Service Set Birmingham Silver Co Bsc Silver
Gorgeous, full tea set/ coffee service from Birmingham Silver Co/ BSC. The set includes coffee pot, teapot, sugar bowl and creamer. Each serving piece has scrolling leaves on the handles and feet. The bodies are bulbous shaped and topped with berry finials. The coffee pot has an 8 cup (64 oz) capacity and the teapot has a 7 cup (56 oz) capacity. Beautiful, sturdy and heavy set. Coffee and Tea pot measure approx 11 1/2" tall x 11 1/2" wide handle to spout and 10 1/2" tall x 11" wide. Sugar approx 7 1/2" tall, creamer approx 6" tall. Marks: Makers mark for Birmingham Silver Co (crown with BSC) and silver on copper.
This set appears to be in good vintage condition.. Has some typical sings of use such as light surface scratches, polish residue, possible tarnish and very light staining insides, if any. Some light wear on the top part of the handle of the teapot, but not very noticeable. This listing is for the Coffee/Tea service only. Anything else in the photographs is for props.
