This one believed to be 1950s. Originally produced by Burrage & Boyde and famous for its modernist, streamlined design. Made from "Magnalium"-a durable magnesium-aluminium alloy - the polished alloy gives silver like finish. Each pot cast in a single piece to prevent leaks. Distinctively shaped, heat-resistant sycamore wooden handles.
Genuine Picquot Ware feature specific hallmarks on the base - typically "PICQUOT WARE", "Made in England", and a specific model/pattern number. Common base markings include J6, W11, or M1, which identify specific pieces e. Coffee pot, or milk jug. In very good condition, given its age etc.
Some small marks and rubbing to handles on one of the pots and tea pot, but no repairs - see photos as they form part of description.
