Antique Aynsley 21 piece coffee/tea set. I think this must be the original Aynsley pattern that formed the basis of the. Thus this set may be of interest to collectors.

6 cups, 2.5 tall. 1 milk jug, 4 tall. 1 large cake or sandwich plate. No chips, crack or crazing. In some places there is wear to the gold, in particular.

See photos of the jug and cup handles end-on. There are areas where the black. Pattern on the gold border appears faded or worn away. There are a few tiny black spots in the inside of the cups and milk jug, I assume.

This may be due to their antique origins (see photo of inside of cups). The glaze has light wear marks.

Overall I think it is in fairly good condition for a china set of its age. The plates, jug and sugar bowl all have the green Aynsley stamp and nothing else.
