Vintage 1940's Susie Cooper Tiger Lily Coffee Set for Six. This is a Vintage 1940's Susie Cooper Tiger Lily Coffee Set for six. This is a complete coffee service set for six people. It is in excellent condition and has no chips, cracks or scratches.

The pattern is Tiger Lily. There are fifteen pieces in the set, consisting of: one coffee pot, one cream jug, one sugar bowl, six coffee cups and six saucers. The pattern is a rust red coloured tiger lily flower, with green leaves on white porcelain. The edgings of the pieces have a border of green leaves. Each piece is marked: A SUSIE COOPER PRODUCTION, CROWN WORKS, BURSLEM, ENGLAND.

All of the piece have a beautiful shaping. The coffee pot is tall and curved, with an elegant, long, swan neck spout. The handle comes to a point, which is a great, aesthetic feature. The cream jug has a similar shaping, only it is much shorter and rounder. The cups are tulip shaped with rounded handles. They have a beautiful delicacy about them. Diameter: 6.5cm (2 1/2).
