This is another set we acquired from a collection. Made in Rochester NY IN THE 1920's this item stood the test of time. We replaced the plug and cord as the original was frayed and we felt it unsafe. We tested it and it works. With a full pot of tap water it takes about 5 minutes till the first pop then another 5 minutes till the perking really gets going, but after that its up to you as to how strong you want the coffee. In another 5 minutes you have a full continuous perc. So its about 15 + minutes for a full brew and you will want to show your guests a piece of the past that is beautiful and functional.

The set consists of Percolator/Cord, Sugar Bowl/Lid, Creamer, Center Piece Flower Holder all together a rare find to get all the pieces in excellent used condition, and IT WORKS. We do have the cord that came with the pot, when we bought it, but I do not think it was the original cord that came from the factory with the pot. We say that because the end has the name SILEX on the plastic. The cord is frayed and I have provided a photo of it.

I tried that plug and while it heats the percolator the plug end gets very hot and I did not think it safe to use it. If you are going to use it only for display then It is up to you and I could send it with the cord I quoted in the listing. This item requires careful packing so the box will be oversized and well padded.
