Vintage Japanese porcelain coffee set by Kireina, marked. A beautiful and complete mid-century coffee service comprising. Six cups and six saucers. The set is finely hand painted with birds perched on flowering branches, enhanced by a soft airbrushed pastel ground in cream, blue and warm amber tones. Extensive gilded decoration to rims, handles, spout and finials gives the set an elegant and decorative appearance. All pieces are in excellent vintage condition with. No chips, cracks or repairs. There is very light rubbing to some gilt areas, consistent with age, but overall the gilding remains strong and attractive. KIREINA - Made in Japan.

Likely dating from the late 1940s-1950s. A lovely decorative set, ideal for display or careful use.
