Very rare, vintage D' Porthault "Les Coeurs" in pink & blue (7) piece porcelain set circa 1990s, one owner only. They were designed by the famous French luxury company D' Porthault, the original company founded in 1920. The Carl's great love for the multicolor hand screen printed & painted pieces transcended decades. Over 5,000 famous prints were revived & reinvigorated. The early D'Porthault pieces are highly collectible, especially to D'Porthault purists who are loyal to the original company House of D' Porthault.

The quality of materials used, workmanship & the methodology of the hand screen printing & painting are just amazing. D' Porthault pieces never age, they are timeless. D'Porthault has an enormous celebrity following.

The Duke and Duchess of Windsor. Wanted to express their commitment to each other, and the simple yet meaningful lines forming Madeleine's hearts were designed to symbolize that union.
