Herend Vintage (1948-1993) Set Of Four Coffee Cups With Saucers

  
Herend vintage set of four coffee cups and saucers, crafted between 1948 and 1993. The particular marks on them were used by Herend during the Communist regime in Hungary, when the factory was taken over by the government. The mark was used for their second class products. I had to look very carefully to establish the reason they were given 2nd class status.

It appears that the gold on the rims of the cups and saucers is not of equal thickness. Kindly note that I sell on other platforms.
