Harry & May Davis Coffee Set Vintage British Studio Pottery Crowan Cornish

  

An exceptionally well made and decorated small coffee service hand thrown in fine stoneware by well respected makers Harry & May Davis of Crowan Pottery. Abstract tortoise wax relief design.

Small Coffee / Tea pot. Harry Davis worked at Poole and later Leach Potteries where he met his future wife May (also an exceptional potter). They established Crowan Pottery together in 1946. The studio closed in 1962 when the couple emigrated. This is a beautiful piece of true studio art pottery, scarce to find a complete service.

Very Good overall condition for a vintage item. No chips no cracks no crazing (see pictures). All my items have a'Make An Offer' button. I'm always glad to receive offers and will always respond.

Collection for free is always an option from Coventry. I sell vintage items so none will be in new condition.
