Vintage Royal Copenhagen'Fensmark' coffee set comprising of eight coffee cups and saucers and a large coffee pot. Back stamp Royal Copenhagen Denmark, 3 blue waves, 1010/9480.

Dates to 1947, mid-century modern. Cream china decorated with an olive green border, printed olive green foliage, hand painted red floral accents and gold rim. Thorkild Ohlsen (1890 - 1973) was a Danish Landscape Painter & Porcelain designer who produced a number of significant Porcelain dinner services for Royal Copenhagen in the early 1930's. His most elegant dinnerware range was the Fensmark circa 1930 named after a town in Denmark also known by its pattern number 1010.
