VINTAGE c. 1925 Shelley Queen Anne BLUE IRIS scarce coffee set for one

  
A very scarce and beautiful Art Deco'Queen Anne' shape fine bone china coffee cup and saucer with a matching jug and bowl made by Shelley. This lovely pattern known as Blue Iris is always popular. The backstamp dates to the period 1925 - 1945.

Cup Height : 6cm (2.5). Cup Diameter at rim : 6cm (2.5).

Saucer Diameter : 11cm (4.25). Bowl Height : 6cm (2.5).

Bowl Diameter at rim : 10cm (4). The cup appears to be faultless. The saucer is also in remarkably good condition, it does have a few light utensil marks in the glaze.

The bowl has a hairline crack, it's very hard to see and I was unable to photograph it. The jug has a small chip in the rim with an associated 2cm hairline crack. 1925 Shelley Queen Anne BLUE IRIS scarce coffee set for one" is in sale since Friday, April 12, 2019.
