Overview An exquisite and substantial vintage 30-piece Noritake porcelain coffee and dessert service. This set features the premium "Gold Encrusted" (raised gold) scrollwork borders and a central "Gold Flower Basket" motif on a crisp white ground. This collection is particularly notable for its variety of period-accurate backstamps, including the rare green "FOREIGN" mark (required for the British market in the 1930s), the blue "Made in Japan" stamp, and the Red Design Registration Number 44318. This is a high-quality set produced for the luxury export market. Minor wear here and there please see images coffee pot has wear to handle as pictured. Gilding: The heavy gold borders remain bright and vibrant. There is minor age-related rubbing/wear to the gilt on some rims and handles. Porcelain: No major cracks or large chips detected. The coffee pot spout and lid are in excellent order the interior of the coffee pot is dusty however.
