Designed by the legendary Susan Williams-Ellis, this iconic "Cylinder" shaped set is finished in a striking matte black glaze and adorned with a detailed, metallic gold heraldic lion motif. Unlike more common patterns like Totem or Phoenix, the Gold Lion transfer pattern was produced in highly limited numbers. What is included: 1 x Cylinder Coffee Pot & Lid: Approx. 33 cm (13 inches) tall. 4 x Matching Coffee Cups: Feature a single gold lion motif. 4 x Matching Matte Black Saucers Authenticity: The coffee pot features the complete, original gold oval backstamp label on the base reading: "Portmeirion Pottery Designed by Susan Williams-Ellis, Stoke-on-Trent, Made in England". General Condition: The matte black finish is deep and consistent across the set.

The gold transfers are crisp, vibrant, and free from heavy rubbing. No chips, cracks, or crazing to the pot, lid, saucers, or 3 of the cups.

Repaired Handle Note: As shown in the final close-up photo, one cup handle has a historical repair. It has broken cleanly in two places and been re-glued. It is structurally holding together fine, but it should be handled with care or kept purely for display.

The remaining pieces are entirely undamaged COLLECTION PREFERRED.
