Vintage Kichigoro Uyeda 950 Sterling Silver 6 Piece Coffee & Tea Set Coffee Pot

Vintage Kichigoro Uyeda 950 Sterling Silver 6 Piece Coffee & Tea Set. This is a gorgeous Japanese 6 piece Coffee& Tea Set which includes a coffee and tea pot, sugar bowl, tongs, creamer and waste bin.

These pieces are all 950 Sterling silver and are made by Kichigoro Uyeda. All but the waste bin sit on 4 leaf pattern feet and have a beautiful scalloped rim with scroll and shell like detailing. The coffee and tea pot have 2 insulators in the handle made of dark wood, possibly teak. The tongs have a leaf pattern at each end.

The handles on each piece is also a beautiful scroll pattern. The waste bin is actually 4 pieces which consist of the main bowl, a straining bowl inside the main bowl, lid and all sits on a small plate with same scalloped rim with scroll and shell like detailing.

Coffee pot is 9 ½ tall x 9 ½ at widest point, the Teapot is 7 ½ tall x 8 ½ at widest point, the sugar bowl is 4 1/4 at tallest point x 6 ½ at handles, the creamer is 4 ¾ at tallest point x 4 ¾ at widest point, the tongs are 4 ¾ long and the Waste bin is 3 ½ tall x 3 ½ wide with 5 ¾ plate to sit on. The set is in very good estate condition with few dings, scratches or dents listed here. This is an estate piece and does show some signs of wear seen as scratches commensurate with use. The sugar bowl, tongs and creamer have no noticeable dents or dings. The teapot has some scratches on the side, but how it sits it hides them pretty well. The coffee pot also has some scratches on the side and a few small dings. The waste jar has one dent to the lids rim and matching dent on outer waste bowl rim, the outer waste bowl also has 2 small dings and one line dent on it, the removable strainer has one small dent to the side which is very hard to see and is inside the base so it is covered most of the time.

The plate that the waste jar sits on is in very good estate condition other than the very small scratches commensurate with use that is on all the pieces somewhere. All pieces but the lid and strainer are marked on the bottom K. Uyeda, 950 and Sterling Entire set weighs 2,295.17 Grams. All items are Vintage or Antique and will show appropriate wear with age, visible damage will be noted.
