Vintage Paragon Part Tea / Dinner Set'Athena' Design 53 piece. An exquisite set in excellent condition made in the excellent PARAGON quality, fully marked with the PARAGON mark.

The ATHENA range has a gold design featuring lace like pattern. The pieces are further embellished with gold trim around the rims. The condition is excellent and I can not detect any signs of use. I believe it was used for display purposes only.

I understand that this pattern was retired in 1980. It is not easy to find retired sets in this excellent condition. This set is an excellent hard to come by dinner service. 6 x Tea Cups D: 7.5cm H: 7cm. 6 x Coffee Cups D: 6.5cm, H: 8.5cm.

11 x Saucers D: 14cm. 3 x Soup Bowls D: 10.5cm, H: 6cm.

1 x Large Milk/Cream Jug D: 7cm, H: 11cm. 1 x Small Milk/Cream Jug D: 6cm, H: 10cm. 1 x Large Sugar Bowl D: 10.5cm, H: 6cm. 1 x Small Sugar Bowl D: 9cm, H: 5cm. 1 x Coffee/Tea Pot (unused still in original packaging). 6 x Large Dinner Plates, D: 26.5cm. 8 x Medium Plates, D: 20.5cm.
